Job Summary:


The Spa Attendant ensures a clean, welcoming, and smoothly operating spa environment. They assist therapists, maintain facility cleanliness, and provide exceptional guest service to enhance the overall spa experience.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Guest Service & Support:

    • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out.

    • Provide towels, robes, slippers, and other amenities.

    • Escort guests to treatment rooms and explain spa facilities.



  2. Facility Maintenance:

    • Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms, relaxation areas, and treatment rooms.

    • Restock supplies (towels, toiletries, beverages).

    • Ensure proper sanitation of spa equipment (e.g., steam rooms, saunas).



  3. Therapist Assistance:

    • Prepare treatment rooms before and after services.

    • Assist therapists with setup (e.g., filling foot baths, arranging products).

    • Launder linens and dispose of used materials hygienically.



  4. Retail & Administrative Tasks:

    • Promote spa products/services to guests.

    • Handle basic front-desk duties (answering calls, scheduling appointments).



  5. Safety & Compliance:

    • Follow health/safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, sanitation standards).

    • Report maintenance issues promptly.




Qualifications & Skills:



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience: Prior experience in spas, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Friendly, professional demeanor.

    • Attention to cleanliness and detail.

    • Ability to multitask in a calm environment.

    • Basic knowledge of spa services (training provided).




Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift/move supplies (up to 25 lbs), and work in humid environments (e.g., steam rooms).
