Are you a recent graduate in water or irrigation engineering, passionate about rural transformation and looking to launch your career in a practical, impactful role?


Irrisol Engineering Limited is hiring a Graduate Trainee to support our mission of delivering affordable and sustainable water supply and irrigation solutions to underserved communities across Uganda.


This is a full-time position with a monthly salary and benefits, ideal for someone who wants to grow both technically and commercially in a purpose-driven company.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Promote and market Irrisol’s water and irrigation systems to farmers, institutions, and communities


  • Conduct site assessments and provide technical advice to potential clients


  • Prepare client proposals, quotations, and system layouts in coordination with the technical team


  • Support sales execution, client onboarding, and after-sales follow-up


  • Participate in exhibitions, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns


  • Work closely with both the sales and engineering teams to ensure excellent service delivery


  • Prepare weekly progress reports and client feedback summaries



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil,  Water Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or Agricultural Mechanization & Irrigation Engineering


  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a strong passion for community-based work


  • Proficiency in MS Office; ability to use basic engineering tools or design software is an added advantage


  • Willingness to travel and work in rural communities


  • Ability to ride a motorcycle is a plus


  • Fluency in English and at least one local language
