Risk and Compliance Duties and Responsibilities
· Developing and operationalizing risk and compliance assessment tools and facilitating the implementation.
· Ensuring that all external compliances set by external regulators are implemented and adhered to by the Company.
· Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place to prevent and detect fraud, Misappropriation of funds and assets; and misapplication of policies and Procedures
· Following up of the resolutions of any identified compliance deficiencies and audit Recommendations coordinating and / or conducting Departmental, client, and Company meetings and timely follow up on all issues.
· Monitoring non-compliance and escalate any issues to management where non-compliance is not addressed.
· Planning and coordinating risk and compliance reviews at office to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
· Developing an effective Compliance & Ethics training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
· Conducting project reviews, compliance checks and present reports to the Managing Director.
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science
· Risk Management Certificate is an added advantage
