Minimum Qualification


Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.


Working ExperienceDuties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Registrar of Titles for performing the following duties:-


-        Researching on and drafting of reports on the impact of land registration on the operations of the land markets and activities of Estates Agents and Administrators of estates of deceased persons;


-        Drafting informative materials on land rights and obligations;


-        Providing technical support and guidance on land management to registered trustees;


-        Providing technical support in implementation of capacity building initiatives of District Land Board and other land holding entities;


-        Sensitizing the public on land rights and duties;


-        Drafting court papers and supporting court appearances;


-        Drafting conveyances;


-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
