Key Responsibilities:



  1. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation.

  2. Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.

  3. Manage employee records, contracts, and payroll with the finance team.

  4. Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.

  5. Coordinate training and development programs.

  6. Implement HR best practices for a positive work environment.

  7. Monitor staff performance, appraisals, and succession planning.

  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

  9. Support employee engagement initiatives.

  10. Provide HR reports for management decision-making.


Minimum Requirements:



  1. Degree/Diploma in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  2. 3+ years of HR experience (preferably in FMCG or marketing agencies).

  3. Knowledge of Ugandan labor laws.

  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  5. Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

  6. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

  7. Membership in the Ugandan HR body.

  8. Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
