Role Overview


As a Sales Professional, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and fostering positive relationships with our clients. You will work closely with a dynamic team of two, reporting directly to the Managing Director. We are looking for someone who is not only results-driven but also committed to understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be key to your success in this fast-paced environment.


Position Details



  • Employment Type: Full-time

  • Location/Work Arrangement: On-site, Kawanda, Wakiso

  • Reporting Structure: Reports to Managing Director


Key Responsibilities


1. Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.


2. Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.


3. Manage inventory levels, reorder merchandise, and oversee stock organization.


4. Negotiate payment details and contracts with clients.


5. Arrange and direct the delivery and installation of products.


6. Prepare estimates, bids, and drawings for customers as needed.


7. Handle customer complaints and concerns efficiently and effectively.


8. Stay informed about industrial trends by attending relevant conferences and workshops.


Requirements


Essential Qualifications



  • Education Requirements: Post-secondary Diploma in Sales and Marketing or other related fields.

  • Required Experience: 1-2 years in a sales role, preferably in hardware.

  • Mandatory Skills: Active Listening, Social Perceptiveness, Critical Thinking, Writing, Coordination.

  • Required Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Accounting software, particularly Ifris.

  • Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Luganda.


 


Preferred Qualifications



  • Desired Additional Skills: Speaking, Persuasion, Negotiation.

  • Beneficial Experience: Experience in retail sales and customer service.

  • Preferred Certifications: Relevant sales or marketing certifications.

  • Additional Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management systems.
