Role Overview
As a Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing initiatives and enhancing our brand presence. Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and prepare advertising and promotional materials to boost sales.
2. Manage the sales team by setting goals, providing incentives, and evaluating performance.
3. Coordinate activities across sales, graphic arts, media, finance, and research departments.
4. Prepare and negotiate advertising and sales contracts.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Marketing or related fields
- Experience: 1-2 years in a marketing role
- Skills: Active Listening, Speaking, Critical Thinking, Judgment and Decision Making, Time Management
- Knowledge Areas: Sales and Marketing, Communications and Media, Economics and Accounting
- Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Business Intelligence and Data Analysis Software (Zoho), Document Management Software (Microsoft Office), and Desktop Publishing Software (Adobe InDesign)
- Language Proficiency: English, Luganda
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the media for advertising dissemination.
