Key Responsibilities and Tasks:



Curriculum Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of the primary school curriculum, ensuring it aligns with Cambridge International standards and meets the needs of students.
Teaching and Learning: Monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning, providing guidance and support to teachers.
Assessment: Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress and inform teaching practices.
Staff Development: Support and mentor teachers, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and the wider school community.
Budget Management: Manage the academic budget effectively and efficiently.
Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate the academic team, ensuring they are aligned with the school's vision and goals.
Data Analysis: Analyze student data to identify areas for improvement and inform curriculum development.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant education regulations and standards.



Required Skills and Qualifications:



Strong Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks effectively, and manage resources.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
In-depth Knowledge of Curriculum Development and Pedagogy: Understanding of different teaching methodologies and curriculum frameworks.
Knowledge of Cambridge International Qualifications: Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment practices.
Experience in a Primary School Setting: Previous experience as a teacher or in a leadership role within a primary school is often preferred.
Commitment to Continuous Professional Development: A willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in education.
Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform teaching and learning practices.
