Job Description: Business Development Officer
Company: Demo Consult Ltd
Location: Ntinda
Reports to: Business Development Director



Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the consulting firm. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to business acquisition and client management.


Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within the consulting sector.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business development targets.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close new business deals in alignment with company objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (consulting, marketing, finance) to ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in networking events, conferences, and seminars to promote the company.
• Provide regular reports to management on business development progress and outcomes.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales within a consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of the consulting industry and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



Preferred Skills:
• Minimum of a diploma in marketing or any business-related field.
• Experience with digital marketing and lead generation strategies.
• Marketing or business development experience for at least 2-3 years in a service business.

Negotiable
