Company Overview:


BFC manages ~6,500 hectares of Pine and Eucalyptus plantations, a sawmill, and a treatment plant, supplying forest products and biomass to local industries.


Key Responsibilities:



  1. Strategic Leadership: Oversee forest operations and stakeholder relations for sustainable forest management.

  2. Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to Annual Plan of Operations (APO) and company standards.

  3. EHS Compliance: Implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) targets.

  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relations with communities, interest groups, and residents.

  5. Business Development: Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to enhance product profitability.

  6. Customer Service: Resolve complex issues and maintain corporate image.

  7. Fire Management: Execute the Integrated Fire Management Plan (IFMP).

  8. Contractor & Staff Management: Recruit contractors, supervise staff, and design work plans.

  9. Data & Reporting: Ensure accurate production/chemical usage records and submit monthly reports.

  10. Security Coordination: Address forest security issues with relevant teams.


Required Skills & Competencies:



  • Leadership, analytical thinking, attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and results-driven approach.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry.
