Job Purpose   


The Retail Inventory Executive (RIE) is responsible for processing requests, supporting unresolved escalations, and ensuring accurate stock movement and reconciliation across all shops. The role involves close monitoring of inventory, float, and cash flow to prevent stockouts and operational delays, while managing partners and generating timely reports for informed decision-making.


Responsibilities                      


Stock Management      



  • Maintain zero stock loss through accurate and timely stock movements between shops and warehouse.

  • Reconcile stock weekly and monthly to ensure alignment between physical and system stock.

  • Prevent stock-outs by proactively monitoring and replenishing in all shops.

  • Process and approve E-Recharge requests promptly to avoid downtime.


Float and Cash Movement Management 



  • Monitor CIT (Cash in Transit) requests daily to ensure stock is received without delays.

  • Generate daily and monthly trend reports on float and cash movement for analysis and planning.

  • Ensure timely movement of cash and float across all with proper stakeholder approvals.  


Retail Reporting 



  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports on all the activities mentioned above for management review and action consideration.

  • P and L Inputs Support

  • Retail Commissions Support

  • Footfall reports

  • Coordinate and report on quarterly governance meetings with key shop partners (Phone Doctors, Banana, Reachcom)


Support 



  • Replacement of faulty assets- KYC phones

  • Mobile money Password resets and KYC resets follow ups and AM modification approvals

  • Any KYC related issues/ follow up on approvals

  • Monitor inventory levels, replenishment, and logistics to ensure optimal stock levels in the shops.

  • Facilitate timely access creation for AM and additional logins based on business needs.

  • Minimize down time in the day-to-day operations of the Shops.      


Partner Support 



  • Follow ups with Retail partners in regard to operations i.e. Rent payments, performance and general business operations

  • Coordinate and report on quarterly governance meetings with key shop partners (Phone Doctors, Banana, Reachcom).

  • Support new shop rollouts by delivering inventory and operational setup within agreed timelines.

Shared: Decisions reached jointly with peers on a collective basis
